SMS / Text Messaging Program
What we send: Appointment confirmations and reminders from Flintridge Family Chiropractic. This is a transactional program; we do not send marketing or promotional text messages.
How you opt in: Patients provide their phone number verbally when scheduling an appointment by phone with our office (or our AI scheduling assistant, Michelle). During the scheduling call, patients are informed that they will receive an SMS appointment confirmation at the number provided. Opt-in is verbal and is collected at the point of scheduling.
Message frequency: Message frequency varies based on your appointments (typically 1–4 messages per appointment cycle).
Message and data rates: Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
How to opt out: You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. You will receive a one-time confirmation that you have been unsubscribed. For help, reply HELP or call us at 818-826-2513.
Carriers: Supported carriers include AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, Sprint, U.S. Cellular, Boost, MetroPCS, and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy of mobile information: No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors that support the SMS program (such as our messaging platform provider) is limited to what is necessary to deliver messages and is not shared for any other purpose.

We share information only as needed to provide care and operate our practice — for example, with payment processors, our scheduling and messaging platform, and as required by law. We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share phone numbers or SMS consent with third parties for marketing.
